Can Silver and Iron Play Duo? Silver and Iron cannot play Duo. Silver-tier players can only queue with Bronze, Silver, and Gold Tier Players.
In order to play with friends, Valorant made the following ranking restrictions: All players from Iron to Silver can play together. Silver and Gold Players can play together. Gold and Platinum players can play together.
A Gold player won't completely roll over a Silver. However, they can still put up enough of a fight to keep Platinum players on their toes. Therefore, all the problems above are greatly (if not completely) diminished.

How Good is Platinum Rank in Valorant? If you are a Platinum player, this basically means that if you would find yourself in a room of 100 Valorant players, you'd statistically beat about 85 of them – that's how good you are.
