How many CALs does Windows Server 2019 have?
This Windows Server 2019 licensing package offers CALs in a quantity of five. It covers a remote desktop service CAL, which is necessary for access to programs on a physical desktop. The standard license follows a single-basic license model with a minimum of eight and 16 cores per processor and server, respectively.
CALs are required by Microsoft licensing for all users or devices that access Windows Server Standard or Windows Server Datacenter.
Client Access Licenses (CALs)
You have to pay for each person or each device (each client) that you want to allow access the server or use of some service the server provides. You only need 1 CAL per user or per device regardless of how many servers you actually have.
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard - 16 Core License + 10 CALs. *Microsoft requires a minimum of 16-cores per server and at least 8-cores per processor.
To determine the number of core licenses you need, count the total number of physical cores for each processor on the server, and then multiply that number by the appropriate core factor. You do not need to purchase additional CALs.
When purchasing only a Windows Server license, without CALs, the devices cannot access the Server. A Device CAL has the advantage that multiple users on the same device can access the server.
The Standard edition uses core-based licensing and requires CAL. The Essentials edition uses a per-server license and no CALs are required.
Each user and device that connects to a Remote Desktop Session host needs a client access license (CAL). You use RD Licensing to install, issue, and track RDS CALs. When a user or a device connects to an RD Session Host server, the RD Session Host server determines if an RDS CAL is needed.
Ans- No; you don't need purchase CAL for each user/computer adding to AD.
Device CALs are ideal for customers with multiple users for one device, such as shift workers. A User CAL is a license for every named user to access a server (from any device) regardless of the number of devices they use.
What do I need server CALs for?
A server CAL (Client Access License) is a required license that gives the right to access services from Microsoft server software. Every user or device that accesses or uses the server software requires the purchase of a Windows Server CAL.
No. The CALs and their cost are included with the operating system image. You do not need to purchase user CALs. Also, Active Directory domain controller VMs running in a Managed Microsoft Active Directory domain or any Windows VMs that are domain-joined to such a domain do not require any additional CALs.

The U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends that children and adults consume calories based on their age group, sex, and level of activity, which is anywhere between 1,600 and 3,000 calories, depending on where you fall on that scale.
A general rule is to aim to burn 400-500 calories, five days a week during your workouts. Remember, the number of calories you burn in a workout depends on your weight, sex, age and many other factors, but this number is a good starting place.
